Trying to capture the essence of local people in a spontaneous and candid manner was challenging, but these moments cannot be forced. I purposefully abandoned any strict themes; my aim was just to photograph ordinary people in extraordinary situations. Sometimes, every once in a while, a beautiful moment occurs.'
